Crashela
(krash-EL'-ahh): |
|
| Announcing: A new Crashela logo! Amtrek is rolling out a new logo for our Northeast Corridor high-speed rail service. This unveiling represents the culmination of an intensive six-month, $1.5 million market research and design effort. (An additional $2.8 million has been earmarked for the update of rolling stock and station signage.) We feel that our new logo dramatically illustrates Amtrek's renewed commitment to quality. It's also 27% bigger than the old Crashela logo! And, as everyone knows, bigger is always better. |

Latest revision of the Crashela wheel design Early tests of the original Crashela wheels had shown a tendency toward minor problems such as vibration, extremely rapid wear and derailments. This radical new configuration addresses those concerns. (Unfortunately, it also has some impact on speed and power consumption.) |
| Our Crashela product line includes a luxurious fleet of motor coaches. These will be used after derailments to transport survivors to the nearest airport. Amtrek even supplies a handy $29 voucher to help offset the purchase of a plane ticket to the passenger's final destination. | ![]() |
